Islamic Society of Greater Houston

The Islamic Society of Greater Houston provides comprehensive religious, educational, charitable, and social services to the Muslim community across the Greater Houston area. Since its establishment in 1969, ISGH has grown to operate 21 Islamic Centers serving Muslims throughout Houston, TX and surrounding regions. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ISGH delivers a wide range of services designed to meet the spiritual and practical needs of its members. The organization operates multiple Islamic Centers strategically located across five zones in Greater Houston, each equipped to serve local communities with Friday prayers, educational programs, and religious guidance. ISGH's service offerings span educational initiatives, charitable programs, social support services, and religious observances including Eid celebrations and funeral services. The society maintains a professional governance structure with an elected Board of Directors and dedicated management staff operating from its main office in Houston. ISGH also provides cemetery services and operates Islamic weekend schools for youth education. The organization welcomes all Muslims living in the Greater Houston area as natural members, with formal membership available on a voluntary basis. Through its network of 21 centers and diverse programming, ISGH serves as the largest Islamic society in North America, providing essential spiritual, educational, and community resources to Houston's Muslim population.
